Remember Nappy Roots? Of Course You Do! Watch One Of Their Members Have An All-Time Reaction To His Son Committing To Kentucky Football

Listen, I could talk about how Kentucky is turning into a real college football program right in front of our eyes. I could throw out silly stats like the only teams in the SEC to have more wins over the last 3 years than Kentucky (25) is Georgia (36), LSU (35), Alabama (38) and Auburn (27). But I'm not going to do that. This is a blog about Nappy Roots and specifically Big V's reaction here. Nappy Roots is one of those bands that you go years without thinking about and then all of a sudden 'AwwNaw' or 'Good Day' or 'Po Folks' or 'Roun the Globe' or 'Country Boyz' comes on and you're reminded of all their jams. Now they (and yes I'm referring to Big V as they here) have a son committing to Kentucky over Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M. Pretty fucking impressive. 

What a celly by Big V here. I mean he knew where Vito was going - apparently Kentucky had his letter of intent since the early signing period - but he still put on a show. The belly slap to chest pounding. The scream. I need him to be a star over the next 3-4 years at Kroger Field (I hate calling it Kroger, it's Commonwealth to me, damnit). Just an unbelievable reaction here that I've watched way more than I care to admit.
